Things To Do

In addition to the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo, families will not want to miss Science Central, our hands-on science center, offering hundreds of exhibits and experiences for children to explore! Turnstone, an official training site for Paralympics, houses the US Men's and Women's medal winning goalball teams. It also has services for people with disabilities, and hosts adaptive sports tournaments.

Parks

Franke Park is home to the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo, BMX trails, and the Fantasy of Lights each holiday season. Johnny Appleseed Park is home to the city's only RV campground, features the annual Johnny Appleseed Festival in the fall. The gravestone of John Chapman is located here as well.

Nightlife

Catch a concert at the Memorial Coliseum to make your visit unforgettable! In the summer months, kick back for open air concerts at the Foellinger Theatre in Franke Park.
