2019-02-22 2019-03-03 An Ideal Husband
An Ideal Husband (February 22 – 24 and March 1 – 3) Oscar Wilde’s witty romantic comedy is the perfect antidote to dreary late winter blahs. Sir Robert Chiltern is a paragon of public and private virtue, respected by his peers and adored by both his wife and his sister, Mabel. Why then does the mysterious Mrs. Cheveley want to blackmail him? Meanwhile, family friend Lord Goring politely spars with Mabel and watches Mrs. Cheveley with interest. A clever, suspenseful commentary on relationships and integrity from the author of The Importance of Being Earnest. Rated PG for subject matter.

Performances at PPG ArtsLab
Friday/Saturday curtain 7:30 PM
Sunday Matinee curtain 2:30 PM
Auer Center for Arts & Culture Fort Wayne, IN America/Indiana/Winamac

Climb aboard this weekend to get a good look at local railroad history and enjoy the thrill of model trains. Throughout this two-day event, model railroad clubs will run their G-scale, HO gauge, and N gauge trains in tabletop displays, while history buffs share their stories and explain the artifacts they have carefully accumulated and preserved. You’ll also hear about the historical reclamation of one of the last surviving steam engines in the world, the 765. Get connected to Fort Wayne through its history! Regular garden admission applies: $5/adult, $3/child age 3-17. Ages 2 and under are free.
