Quick New Updates
- The History Center plans to renovate! More than 60% of the 6,100 square feet of publicly accessible space on the museum’s first floor will be remodeled, which is scheduled for completion in spring 2023. These enhancements will illustrate a wider and deeper view of the peoples who have fostered the local identity, and more frequent displays will facilitate broader access to the museum’s incredible 32,000-piece artifact collection, one of the largest locally-relevant historical collections in the Midwest.
- Six additional tactile signs were added to existing mural locations in downtown Fort Wayne. A total of 11 murals are now outfitted with 3D-printed models designed to assist those with visual impairments enjoy the murals.
