2024 Winner - Best Display

This year's display is even bigger, with over 70,000 LED lights, 4 moving spotlights, a 17 foot LED screen, and more 24 foot RGB tree, 20 ft Mega tree, 2 bouncing pillars, 2 RGB starbursts, 2 jumping arches, and 8 mini trees. Besides displaying more than 18,000 lights, this house has over 20 trees that are synched to music, candy canes surrounding the yard, 2 nativity scenes, Snoopy's house, and Santa Bigfoot. Be sure to look for Santa dunking an ornament in the basketball hoop, and a dog sled being pulled by 9 light-up flamingos. Enjoy this display from Thanksgiving until January 4 from dusk to 10p. Experience dancing trees, an eight-foot Santa, lighted arches, the grinch, animated gingerbread house, elves, and more. Light patterns along the roof that change every five minutes. Display will run daily, 6-11pm.

Discover a winter wonderland of holiday favorites at this house that features a combination of vintage blow molds, inflatables, and LED technology. 2632 JACOBS CREEK RUN (House Number = 15)

This house has moving lights around the eaves that have a difference color and pattern each night of the week. Inflatables, lighted deer, the Christmas Story leg lamp in the front window, and other lights totaling over 10,000 decorate the property. If you're a fan of "Ralphie" in the movie "A Christmas Story" then your going to love this tribute to that wonderful holiday movie. From the "leg lamp" to Ralphie in his pink bunny outfit, you'll see it all on full display playing on an outdoor movie screen as you drive by! All new lights and displays for 2024 bring the holiday classic to life. 

5821 SPRING OAK COURT (HOUSE NUMBER = 34) 

Starting November 30, enjoy this shining display, complete with yard lights, meteor lights, holiday creature displays, and a fully outlined house and roof. Thanks to "Kris Kringle" for submitting. 

2107 CRESCENT AVE (HOUSE NUMBER = 21)

This display adorns an American Foursquare home with classic icicle lights, large wreath, and colorful landscaping lights. Light garland accents the front porch and two nutcrackers adorn the sidelights. Thanks to Mike Boles for submitting. 

5501 CHISWELL RUN (HOUSE NUMBER = 9)

Check out this colorful, Mickey inspired light display. The front tree has around 10,000 lights on it and we added some new friends to our light display this year. Merry Christmas from the Chambers family.

1412 ABERDEEN LN, NEW HAVEN. (HOUSE NUMBER = 28)

Come celebrate this decades-long tradition in New Haven. Enjoy more than 40 lighted displays including nine dazzling reindeer and a sleigh. Thanks to the Anderson family for submitting.

2128 LIMA LANE (HOUSE NUMBER = 25)

This northwest side display features hundreds of lights and festive creatures lighting up the yard. Thanks to Dan Dalman for submitting.

1127 W. LUDWIG RD. (HOUSE NUMBER = 10)

Enjoy seeing more than 25,000 lights, over 125 blow molds, dozen inflatables, hand made decorations and more at this house. Plus, tune your radio to 97.7 to enjoy the light dance set to music. 1009 VALDOSTA DR. (HOUSE NUMBER = 33)

New to the list, this house on a corner features a home and yard decorated with thousands of colorful lights and displays. Thanks to the Williams family for submitting. 

1431 SPRINGBROOK ROAD (HOUSE NUMBER = 19)

Featuring lots of lights and candy cane lighted fence in the yard. The display starts November 11. Special thanks to David Mertz for submitting. 

721 PELHAM DR. (HOUSE NUMBER = 11)

The display has a manger with inspirational banners, over 50,000 lights, new reindeer stable with moveable reindeer for picture taking, light-o-rama , many blow molds and inflatables, a Santa’s toy shop with moving train, gingerbread house, Whoville area, and Santa’s mailbox for children to drop off wish lists to Santa.

The display starts Thanksgiving Eve at 6pm. After thanksgiving Eve they will be on every night from 6:00pm-10pm Monday-Sunday. On Friday and Saturdays Santa will be out from 6-8pm until Dec 19th. This is a walk through display. Also with a self addressed stamped envelope each child can receive a letter back from Santa . The Ellenwoods will also be taking donations for Shepherds House to help local veterans. We will have a wish list available for the veteran donations. 1934 W AUTUMN LN (HOUSE NUMBER = 26)

Discover this house's display that features 40-year-old lights and brand new lights, plenty of additions for 2024. Enjoy a mix of new and old featuring LED lights, incandescent lights, a dozen inflatables, 200 blow molds, different animation and laser show projections, and an 18-foot tall rope light tree. This house has a little bit for everyone to enjoy from December 1 - 31 every evening from 5:00 - 11:00 pm. Special thanks to Tommy Montanaro for submitting.

2734 WESTMORE DRIVE (HOUSE NUMBER = 49)

Over 10,000 string lights on display with the highest point in the tree reaching nearly 40 feet. With a homemade penguin on the right and homemade cone trees on the left. No bush or tree is left not illuminated. Special thanks to Dylan Robb for submitting. 

15509 GOLDEN EAGLE NEST (HOUSE NUMBER = 22)

Get ready for one of the most magical, colorful, and joyful Christmas displays in the area! House 22 is back again this year — bigger, brighter, and filled with more holiday cheer than ever before. From towering light trees to animated characters, glowing nativity scenes, flying reindeer, shooting stars, and whimsical surprises tucked into every corner, this display is designed to make kids and adults alike feel the magic of Christmas the moment they pull up.

This year, we’re inviting everyone to drive by, slow down, and soak in the lights — and to help us shine that light a little farther.

For 2025, House 22 is proudly partnering with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to help children and families facing the unthinkable. Here’s how you can join us in making a difference:

1. There will be an on-site donation box located in front of the display for anyone who would like to leave a contribution. Cash or check to "St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital" accepted. Due to charity regulations, cash may ultimately go to St. Jude Christmas display and advertising for next year.

2. A Venmo QR code will be posted and illuminated so you can donate instantly from your phone without leaving your car.

3. For every contest vote House 22 receives this year, the homeowner will personally donate an additional one dollar to St. Jude, above and beyond any donations collected from visitors. Vote early and often! Your vote literally makes a difference.

2017 W GUMP ROAD. (HOUSE NUMBER = 45)

Every Christmas, the Dale family puts together this light display as a way to spread a little extra joy throughout the neighborhood and to the school just across the street. It’s become something to look forward to each year — adding new trees, brighter colors, and a few fresh ideas to make the yard shine a little more than the year before.

11207 TRAILS NORTH DRIVE (HOUSE NUMBER = 32)

Enjoy this display in Pine Valley with more than 12,500 programmable LED lights timed to music on 88.9 FM. Santa and his reindeer stopped by this year to join The Bruce Spruce Band. New this year featuring dueling dazzling spinners. The show runs nightly Sunday-Thursday 5pm to 10pm and Friday-Saturday 5pm to midnight. Special thanks to the Colones for submitting.

11314 KINGS CROSSING (HOUSE NUMBER = 16)

A Pine Valley tradition continues with the 33rd year for a Christmas display at this house and overflowing a bit to my kind neighbor's lawn this year. Enjoy this wonderland featuring life-sized animated silhouettes, similar to those at Fantasy of Lights. Including Santa and his flying reindeer, a special Christmas train, Penguins, the Grinch, Tin Soldiers and so much more. New is an animated pixel tree set to music, Tune to FM87.9. Plus, weather permitting, enjoy candle-lit luminary bags lining the street on Christmas Eve. This house’s display will be lit from November 27 thru at least December 26 or so. Enjoy from 5:30 to 11:00 pm.

10032 HOUNDSHILL PL. (HOUSE NUMBER = 39)

All four sides of this house are decorated for Christmas! There are lots of reindeer, polar bears, snoopy on a mailbox, angels, candy canes, Santa, and many other animals all over the lawn! Plus, there is a beautiful white Christmas tree in the backyard along with Santa’s sleigh flying off into the sky. The house sits at the intersection of Weatherside Run and Houndshill Place, so you get a great view of this wonderful display from all four sides! Display starts December 12. This house is full of KrisMiss Spirit and much more than a show. Tune into 107.1, sit back and relax, and be sure to bring a donation for Community Harvest Food Bank. This house features inflatables, blow molds, RGB pixel lighting over the entire house, 2 Large Matrix screens and you can drop off letters to Santa. Santa does return letters to the children if an address is provided. Enjoy the display nightly 6:00 pm - 12:00 am, starting on Thanksgiving night through January 3rd. Using a mix of modern and classic technology, the owners put in dozens of hours perfecting the tens of thousands of lights on display. Starting Thanksgiving and running through January 8, the lights will be on starting at 6pm and going to 11pm Sunday through Thursday and 1am Friday and Saturday.
