The Anti-Imperialism Nationwide<br />Comedy Takeover is a comedy tour where socially conscious comedians Krish Mohan &amp;<br />Andrew Frank use comedy as a vehicle to address and start conversations about big<br />topics like war, the misuse of religion, race, class and more!<br /><br />Mohan is a Nationally Touring Comedian that regularly performs at DIY venues, little<br />theaters, house shows and more. He uses his quirky attitude, charming personality, and<br />intelligent humor to address hot button topics like race, religion, war, immigration, while<br />adding an optimistic philosophical &amp; sociological twist! He’s been a hit at various Fringe<br />Festivals across the country over the years.<br /><br />Frank is a Nationally Touring Comedian who has won several national comedy<br />competitions from ‘Trial By Laughter’, ‘Go Bananas Funniest Person’ and more! His love<br />of language, philosophy, sociology, anthropology, and cosmology are on full display<br />each time he takes the stage. Andrew continues to explore his mind and the minds of<br />others at clubs, independent venues, and colleges all over the country.<br />Mohan &amp; Frank have toured the country independently and now are joining forces to<br />bring their unique perspectives to the stage and build off each other’s material and<br />create a cohesive night of comedy.<br /><br />The show has a $5 cover online and $10 at the door and starts at 7:30pm.<br /><br />Come join the takeover!</p> 3402 Fairfield Ave Fort Wayne, IN America/Indiana/Winamac

  • 2018-03-20 17:30:00 2018-03-20 20:00:00 The Joseph Daley Tuba Trio presented by Jazz Talk Live/Big Apple Jazz Club Series <p>The Joseph Daley Tuba Trio is an internationally respected Jazz Ensemble specializing in the bass clef. The Trio —Daley, Warren Smith, percussion, and Scott Robinson, reeds— will be augmented by three of River City’s foremost jazz artists: Michael Patterson, bass, Jim Steele, piano, David Streeter, reeds and flutes. The concert begins at 6PM, and will be preceeded by a meet &amp; greet, Q&amp;A with the Trio, which will play selections from its recent CD, The Tuba Chronicles, a tribute to multi-instrumentalist Sam Rivers. Daley and Smith were member of Rivers’ original Tuba Trio. Daley is an original member of Howard Johnson’s Gravity. A Big Apple Jazz Club is a community-building arts engagement process working in cooperation with Wunderkammer Co, Tempel Recording, Wooden Nickel Records, Unity Barbershop, and Neat Neat Neat Records, CS3, and Jay’s Essential Touch.</p> 1023 Kinnaird Ave Fort Wayne, IN America/Indiana/Winamac
