DeKalb County Indiana is the "Hub of Transportation Heritage".
DeKalb County has ten museums:
the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum, with over 100 classic, vintage, and antique cars all displayed in the beautiful 1930 art deco factory showroom
The National Auto & Truck Museum, featuring over 100 automobiles and trucks
The Kruse Automobile and Carriage Museum, home to a display of classic cars, racecars, plus a collection of carriages
The National Military History Center, features 147 military vehicles and 279 uniforms
The Hoosier Air Museum, displaying vintage and military aircraft
Garrett Museum of Art is a gallery showcasing exhibits of local and area artists.
The Garrett Historical Railroad Museum, houses local heritage and railroad memorabilia
The DeKalb County History Museum, which exhibits early urban and rural home life
The Early Ford V-8 Museum, focuses on cars from 1932 to 1953.
DeKalb County Draft Animal Museum displaying hundreds of antique pieces of horse farming history.
