Recognized as one of Indiana's Top Ten "Summer Gotta-Do's" Black Pine is a true sanctuary that doesn’t buy, sell, breed, trade or seek out animals. The 18-acre refuge is home to 100 displaced, captive-raised wildcats, bears, wolves, primates, reptiles, birds and more. Public visitation and many special events by reservation are available throughout the year. The Wolf Den Gifts & Things, offering a variety of animal-themed merchandise and souvenirs, is open by request and for walk-in visitation during the summer season.

    2018-09-15 17:30:00 2018-09-15 09:00:00 Roar 'n' Snore at Black Pine Animal Sanctuary <p>Roar 'n' Snore has been a family tradition at Black Pine for over 10 years! <br /><br />Pack up your tent, sleeping bags, cooler, flashlight, and join us for a night of camping at the sanctuary! Each site can accommodate up to two tents and a maximum of six people. We will prepare dinner while you set up camp, followed by a guided sanctuary tour, then a movie after dark. Event begins at 5:30 p.m. Saturday and ends at 9:00 a.m. Sunday.<br /><br />Awake to the sounds of the lions roaring, birds calling, and - we hope - the wolves singing!
