The first thing you’ll notice when walking into Parkview Field Holiday Lights is how bright everything around you is. Lights cover the entire stadium, all across the stands and field, but the real excitement comes from above the field. Here, you can take your picture with Johnny Claus, ride a festive train, step inside the crafting station, and see even more lights.
In particular, I enjoyed the interactive displays. There was a giant present and ornament you could walk through, and an illuminated hot air balloon. These were not only beautiful in person, but they also made for great photo ops. My brother, who came with me, is a holiday lights connoisseur, and even he was impressed with the way the lights were put together.
When you’re ready to warm up, step into the crafting station, located in the Lincoln Financial building at the top of the stands. Here, you can guess the amount of reindeer food in a container, color a Parkview Field-themed page, write a letter to Santa, and design your own ornaments. It’s the perfect break from the cold while still keeping the attention of the kids and adults alike.
The field area is a walk around experience to see more light displays. I enjoyed the gorgeous light tunnel we got to walk through and the mixture of baseball and holiday lights. Plus, the snow highlighted the dazzle of the lights, making them look even more magnificent.
This experience was a perfect way to get my family and I in the holiday mood! I definitely recommend going to Parkview Field Holiday Lights to get festive this holiday season!
