Q: With your vibrant, upbeat energy—what people, places, or experiences inspire positivity in your life?
My mom has always been my biggest inspiration. She is the most positive person I know. Growing up she taught us that happiness is a choice so I always try to live everyday with that mindset. With everything going on in the world, choosing joy is what gets me through.
Q: What makes Fort Wayne special to you? How would you describe Fort Wayne to a visitor?
Fort Wayne is special to me because it’s where I grew up and will always feel like home. I would describe Fort Wayne as a hidden gem. You would never know how fun it is until you come visit.
Q: What has inspired your love of dance? Do you have any favorite dance spots or backdrops in Fort Wayne?
My mom was a dancer and got me involved at a very young age and I’ve loved it ever since! I’m the type of person who can dance to anything anywhere, so any place with good music is my favorite place to dance.
Q: We also see you like to golf, do you have any favorite courses in Fort Wayne?
I grew up playing at Chestnut Hills and have so many memories there of my dad teaching my siblings and I how to play, so that will always be my favorite course.

Q: What are your top recommendations for when visitors come to town? What should they do, see, eat?
My top recommendations are eating on The Landing, visiting Promenade Park and going to a TinCaps baseball game.

It’s hard to pick one! I think any of restaurants on The Landing capture our food scene.
Q: What seasonal events or festivals should visitors plan around?
Any of our spring and summer events/festivals! There’s so much to do outside when the weather is nice. Even if it’s just taking a walk downtown or through one of our parks.
Q: What’s something unique about Fort Wayne that visitors often overlook?
The hospitality and the at home feeling. My friend recently visited for the first time and was blown away but the friendliness and hospitality here!
