Get Green Fest

March 16

The Fort Wayne Professional Firefighters turn the St. Marys River green at 11:00 am at the Carole Lombard Memorial Bridge downtown (on Main Street)—using eco-friendly vegetable dye! Starting at 8:30 am and continuing until 8:00 pm, you can celebrate St. Patrick's Day with music, food, drinks, and fun in the Get Green Fest Tent. Throughout the day, you can participate in the:

  • 5-kilt run/walk — 9:30 am
  • Gold Coin Hunt — 12:00 pm
  • Lucky Charms Eating Contest — 1:00 pm

...and so much more!

You can also catch local band, the Debutants, performing in the event tent from 1:00-5:00 pm. This celebration is family-friendly, so come one and all for the best St. Patrick's Day celebration!

St. Patrick's Day at JK O'Donnell's Irish Ale House

March 16-17

Celebrate at JK O'Donnell's Irish Ale House where any day of the week you can sink your teeth into traditional Irish food and drink. Enjoy their standard menu items like corned beef and cabbage, fish & chips, bangers and mash, Shepard's Pie, Irish stew, and much more!

This year, their gigantic St. Patrick's Day celebration is a two-day affair taking place on "The Pitch" — their outdoor bar right behind the pub. On Saturday, doors open at 11 am, and the real fun begins at 4 pm with live entertainment. Come enjoy music from The Ragtag Bunch, Soltre, Shiny Shiny Black, and James and the Drifters — rocking until midnight on Saturday. And on Sunday, catch the Debutants from 5-8 pm! This is a 21+ event, with a $5 cover.

March 15–17

Just north of town, you will find one of Fort Wayne's favorite St. Patrick's Day celebrations at Deer Park Irish Pub. The 26th Annual Clover Classic kicks off on Friday, March 15 with the tapping of the first green keg. Saturday and Sunday are filled will festivities all day long! Don't miss the Keg Toss competition on Saturday, or the main event, the People's Parade, on Sunday, followed by Irish road bowling. Enjoy live music, food trucks, green beer, and all the celebrations from March 15–17. See the full schedule here.

O'Sullivan's

For a hidden gem, hit up the local favorite, O'Sullivan's on West Main Street. This party is packed year after year, so be prepared to wait in a line that snakes out the door and down the block. However, that line is for good reason because this St. Patrick's Day celebration should be experienced at least once. We've heard that O'Sullivan's is the pinnacle of the St. Patrick's Day festivities in Fort Wayne.
