This September 8-12, the National Association of County Agricultural Agents - Annual Meeting and Professional Improvement Conference will be convening in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
NACAA is the professional extension organization and is geared toward extension educators and other professionals who work in agriculture, horticulture, forestry and natural resources, 4-H youth development, community development, administration, aquaculture and Sea Grant, and related disciplines.
Held at the Grand Wayne Center, the NACAA: AM/PIC will bring an estimated 900 people and $1,069,750 in spending to Fort Wayne over this 5 day event.
Although this is 103rd AM/PIC that NACAA has hosted, this is the first time they will be in the State of Indiana. In fact, Fort Wayne beat out Indianapolis and other cities during the bid process.
While in town, attendees will have time to enjoy Fort Wayne's many restaurants and amenities. And on September 12, they will board 24 different buses to enjoy tours and experiences throughout Northeast Indiana.
