FORT WAYNE, IN (June 21, 2019) --The International Jugglers Association 72nd Annual Festival gets ready to dazzle Downtown Fort Wayne June 24-30.

An estimated 700 performers from around the world will gather at the Grand Wayne Convention Center to continue their education in the art of juggling and entertain the community with several performances at the Embassy, Allen County Public Library, Purdue Fort Wayne and Courtyard by Marriott.

The public is invited to attend shows at the Embassy on June 25th, 26th, 27th and 29th.

And don’t miss the few free performances during the week! Club Renegade begins at 11 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday evenings at the Courtyard by Marriott. All ages are admitted to this free event, but parents are cautioned that the cabaret-style Club Renegade is where the jugglers get a little wild and crazy.

Planting the Juggling Seed is a more family-friend and free performance planned for the Allen County Public Library Plaza Thursday June 27th at 10:30 a.m.- 12 p.m.

And of course, anybody is welcome to spectate the convention and vendor areas with a $7 spectator pass, kids under 10 will be admitted free.

“This group has been my most fun client to date! When we talked about their needs, I could instantly picture them using the Grand Wayne and Embassy Theatre. It’s a bonus that we could fit the dates to overlap with Buskerfest!” said Stephanie Coleman, Visit Fort WayneSports Sales Manager.

Hosting this whimsical international event is a huge deal for the city. Not only does this festival conveniently come to us the week of Buskerfest to enhance the street-performing fun, but this large-scale event means serious economic benefit for Fort Wayne.

The estimated economic impact of the International Jugglers Association Festival is more than $470,000.
