Explore the color, fragrance, and unique landscapes of the Foellinger-Friemann Botanical Conservatory located in the heart of downtown!
Exploring the Botanical Conservatory's Gardens
With over 24,500 square feet of indoor garden space and additional outdoor gardens, you won't run out of things to see and do at the Botanical Conservatory! As you enter the multi-level Tropical House, you'll find a variety of beautiful, lush foliage and a three-story waterfall.
Next, make your way into the Desert House where you'll learn about different types of plant species that call the desert home.
Showcase Exhibits
The Botanical Conservatory also features exhibits in the Showcase House that change four times a year to celebrate the seasons. These exhibits provide unique experiences and activities that the whole family will enjoy. You won't want to miss "Color In Motion", a live butterfly exhibit that appears from late spring to early summer!
After you trek through the tropical forest and the desert oasis, explore Fort Wayne. Rest your feet at one of the many great restaurants around town, or continue the fun by taking a tour of our public art or exploring Science Central.
