  • 2018-07-13 14:00:00 2018-07-13 14:00:00 LEGO Building Challenge <p>Who's the most creative Lego builder out there? Join the Lego Challenge and let your imagination soar! Compete in the team challenge for kids ages 5-12 with an adult or the solo challenge for ages 9-14. You will have 200 Legos (provided by Packrat's Corner, located in Another Man's Treasure Resale Shop) and a couple of hours to build something that fits the designated theme. You will name your project and we will display it at the Community Center along with a photo of you working on it. The public will be allowed to vote for their favorite, so let your family and friends know to stop by. Building will take place only on July 13. Voting will be open Saturday and Sunday, July 14 and 15 from 12:00-5:00 p.m. and continue Monday-Wednesday, July 16-18 from 8:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. The votes will be tallied and the top three teams and individuals in the solo challenge will receive gift cards compliments of Hamilton Hunter Builders, Inc.<br />Registration Deadline : July 6</p> 233 W. Get your team together and compete for prizes in our Intergenerational Wii Bowling Tournament. Teams consist of one child (age 4-14) and one senior adult (age 50+). You will each get one practice round before the competition begins. Prizes will be presented to the top 3 teams ($100, $75, and $50 gift cards). Every team will be recognized in a brief awards ceremony. Practice is optional and will run from 12:30-1:15 p.m. The Tournament will begin promptly at 1:30p.m. Tournament end time is dependent on the number of teams registered. <br />Registration deadline: July 6</p> 233 W.
