Fort Wayne is pleased to welcome IAJGS to our city! We are excited for you to dive into the largest genealogy collection in a public library at ACPL's Genealogy Center. Outside of meeting times, take a look around Fort Wayne to explore our outstanding attractions, museums, shopping malls, restaurants, and urban parks. Also, be sure to take a look at all of the fun local events happening here during your stay!

Getting from venue to venue could not be easier - the Genealogy Center is across the street (just 300 steps away!) from the Grand Wayne Convention Center.

Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA)

The Hilton Downtown Fort Wayne (260-420-1100) is attached to the Grand Wayne Center with onsite Starbucks and Features Restaurant. The Courtyard Downtown Fort Wayne (260-490-3629) is directly across the street from the Grand Wayne Center with onsite Conner's Kitchen + Bar. Both hotels are conveniently located to more than 60 walkable restaurants and downtown attractions.

Things-To-Do

Find things-to-do around every corner in Downtown Fort Wayne on your own or with a group. Walk the concourse at Parkview Field to see one of the Top Minor League Ballparks in the Country - open as a public park outside of game times. Stroll up Harrison Blvd to Promenade Park for beautiful walking paths, historic canal boat tours, scenic urban views, and more. Stay close to the Grand Wayne Center with a visit to the Botanical Conservatory or the Embassy Theatre found just across Washington Blvd. Venture further into downtown to make a visit to the Fort Wayne Museum of Art to see rotating exhibits and their permanent Glass Wing.
