In Northeast Indiana, you're never too far from outdoor fun on one of our many lakes. From Indiana’s third-largest lake in Steuben County, to 13 lakes in the Chain O' Lakes State Park alone — we have hundreds of opportunities to enjoy boating, swimming, fishing, canoeing, and much more!
Steuben
Steuben County is home to 101 lakes, including the state's third-largest, Lake James. With numerous public and paid access sites, visitors can enjoy boating, swimming, skiing and fishing.

LaGrange
Home to 1/5 of Indiana's freshwater lakes, you're always within minutes from a body of water. There are public accesses at many of them. So come and enjoy watersports or fish for Bluegill, Largemouth Bass, Walleye, and more. If the beach is more your speed, visit Dallas Lake Park to swim, tan and picnic.

Noble
Home to 117 lakes and 30 DNR access points, Grab a boat or a kayak and some fishing gear, and enjoy a quiet day on the water in Noble County. Watercraft can be rented at Chain O’ Lakes State Park to use on their 13 lakes.

Whitley
Northern Whitley County is dotted with some of the most beautiful, clean lakes in Indiana, offering an ideal atmosphere for quiet reflection, a sportsman's delight chasing muskies and other native fish species, boating, wakeboarding and swimming in the summer as well as ice fishing and ice skating in the colder months. The Indiana Department of Natural Resources offers public boat launches on many lakes, providing a great location for visitors to access and enjoy the water.

Offering lots of open outdoor spaces, Pine Lake is an outdoor waterpark located in Berne, Indiana. Take your pick of jumping, zipping, or sliding into the water from their many attractions. And, if you're looking for a more relaxing lakeside fun there are plenty of attractions for everyone to enjoy including the splash pad, log walk, and more. Plus, be sure to bring your fishing pole for an adventure at Rainbow Lake in Geneva, Indiana.
