Over the months of March and April, you can enjoy traveling Broadway shows including Beautiful and Waitress. And live in concert, Fort Wayne plays host to dozens of musical artists and shows including Candlebox, Bruce Hornsby, for King and Country, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and many more. You can also catch Jo Jo Siwa in concert, as well as Pirates of the Sea – a special show for all ages, performed by the Fort Wayne Philharmonic. 

Sports fans can catch NCAA tournament play, as well as Komet Hockey, Mad Ants basketball, and Derby Girls roller derby! 

Special exhibits at Fort Wayne’s museums include the Dog Days of Winter exhibit at the Botanical Conservatory and A-Maze-D at Science Central! Both are big hits for the kids.

If you come on a weekend, plan to check out the indoor Farmers Market on Saturday and the many free events taking place every Sunday at Riverfront Fort Wayne’s Promenade Park.

Explore downtown Fort Wayne by foot with our Walking Tour or Public Art Map. Both help you get to know our great city, and discover instagrammable worthy locations along the way!

Bring your bike (or rent one here!) to explore Fort Wayne’s 120 miles of trails and 86 amazing parks.

And be sure to check out the Midwest’s newest attraction – Promenade Park! Promenade Park is built on the banks of Fort Wayne’s three rivers and offers free family fun! Travel the treetop canopy trail, slide into a fully accessible playground, splash in the 260-foot kids canal, enjoy lunch at Trubble Riverside, and relax in the porch swings, overlooking the river. There is so much to see and explore in the heart of downtown at Promenade Park.

4. Get Active at Fort Wayne’s Entertainment Centers

Cooler days call for activity indoors! Check out our laser tag arenas, bowling and arcade centers, and indoor trampoline park to find ways to run off that pent-up energy!

No visit is complete to Fort Wayne with a visit to some of our family-friendly attractions including Science Central, Indiana’s only hands-on science museum. The Botanical Conservatory offers three gardens under glass – enjoy a lush tropical rainforest, Sonoran desert, or ever-changing showcase garden. Art lovers will also enjoy the Fort Wayne Museum of Art where a substantial permanent collection and dazzling glass collection meets seasonal exhibits for all interests.
