With 5,000 performances, it is the second-longest running Off Broadway musical. It is presented in the form of a series of vignettes connected by the central theme of love and relationships. This celebration of the mating game takes on the truths and myths behind that contemporary conundrum known as "the relationship". It is the east, and Juliet is the sun. Romeo’s words do not yet hint at the tragedy that will unfold in one of Shakespeare’s most popular plays. His young star-crossed lovers, must navigate the hatred of their feuding families, the Capulets and Montagues, in a vain attempt to be together.
