Get a jump on Groundhog’s Day in January as we uncover the history and myths surrounding this yearly event in “The History of Groundhog’s Day.” February’s topic is “Animal Tracks and Facts.” Little detectives will discover which animals are still active during winter and what they are doing, as well as how to identify the tracks they make. Learn about the world around you while assisting the scientific community! The following Citizen Science programs are open to all ages at no charge and no pre-registration is required. Just meet us at the park dressed for the outdoors. In the event of inclement weather, please check the Riverfront Fort Wayne Facebook page for cancellations.
