2018-02-01 2018-03-31 VOYAGE: Global Photography & Artifacts <p><strong>VOYAGE: Global Photography &amp; Artifacts 10-Case Exhibit, at the Allen County Public Library Downtown, 900 Library Plaza Fort Wayne, In 46802. VOYAGE features travel photography by Meghan Menchhofer. The exhibit, located on the 2<sup>nd</sup> Floor of the public library, is free to the public and will run through March 31, 2018.</strong></p> <p>VOYAGE features international photography from the following places: Myanmar (Burma), Tunisia, India, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Zambia, Kenya and Tanzania. The community and culture of Myanmar in Fort Wayne, Indiana is also represented in the exhibit. Each case/place is represented through photography and by the “artifacts” that Meghan Menchhofer purchased from local artisans or was gifted by a host family or friend.</p> <p>Meghan Menchhofer has served as a social worker, advocate, educator and community volunteer in multicultural communities, with experiences ranging from Fort Wayne, Indiana to refugee camps globally.</p> <p>ARTIST BIO:  Meghan Menchhofer has served as a social worker, educator and community volunteer in multicultural communities, with experiences ranging from Fort Wayne, Indiana to refugee camps globally. Her primary areas of focus center on marginalized groups, refugee and immigrant communities, and survivors of violence.</p> <p>Meghan has represented IPFW University at international conferences, while presenting her research, and was also chosen as a student exchange delegate for the Fort Wayne Sister Cities contingent hat visited a sister city in Myanmar (Burma), in 2017.</p> <p>Meghan’s passion for cross-cultural exchange, learning, and travel (photography) has taken her to 37 countries.</p> <p><span class="text_exposed_show"><br /></span></p> 900 Library Plaza Fort Wayne, IN America/Indiana/Winamac
