Vietnam Wall Dedication Event

About

The Veterans National Memorial Shrine & Museum in Fort Wayne will host an event Saturday, May 29th to dedicate the Vietnam Wall at the memorial. 

This "Healing Wall" is an exciting addition to the Memorial grounds. It is an 80% size replica of the actual Vietnam Wall.

Those attending the ceremony are asked to bring along a lawn chair if possible.

Dedication Ceremony

  • Dedication Speakers & Special Presentation
  • Raising of the Flags donated by the Air Force Association Fort Wayne, Chapter 143
  • 369th Huey Helicopter Squadron Peru, IN 

Refreshments

  • 100% of the proceeds go to the Veterans National Memorial Shrine & Museum
  • "Liberty Dog" or "Freedom Cheeseburger", All meals served with Potato Salad, choice of chips & drink $10

Entertainment

  • Saturday 3PM to 6PM - Big D & the Penetrators
  • Sunday noon to 3PM - Gospel/Country/Elvis Impersonator Todd Allen Herendeen
  • Vietnam Reenactors onsite for the weekend

Shuttle Service to the Event

  • Due to the expected large turnout for this event, parking is available at BAE Systems parking lot at 5001 US HWY 30W, across from Sweetwater.  Buses will shuttle you to and from the event.  Handicap Wheelchair parking only at the Shrine
