For Immediate Release

Fort Wayne, IN – Daily, Summit Plastic Surgery serves patients who are amazing survivors of various types of cancer. We passionately help others “reconstruct” their lives. We hope that you will partner with us to help serve our community. Wednesday, October 16, 2019, we will be hosting our Third Annual Open House Breast Cancer Awareness Event and Silent Auction: Think Pink-“Together, We Can Make a Difference”.

Join us and other generous hearts on the Lutheran Hospital campus at Summit Plastic Surgery, 7920 West Jefferson Blvd. Suite 200; from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. Come and share a fun-filled day with prize raffles, refreshments, and a silent auction. Hors d'oeuvres from BJ’s Brewing Company and quality craft beer from Chapman Brewery will be served at 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Don’t miss the amazing One day ONLY cosmetic and skin care sales with the most advance, and most effective skin care products and services available. All funds raised from our Silent Auction will go to Cancer Services of NE Indiana. Sydney Pacula will have a selection of beautiful jewelry on site and half of all sales will go to Cancers Services.

They serve and provide support to over 4,000 people annually; serving 11 counties including: Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Noble, Huntington, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Steuben, Wabash, Wells, and Whitley. They help provide financial assistance for cancer related expenses, supportive legal and financial counseling, advocacy for insurers and employers, information and referrals, a cancer resource library, free loaning of durable medical equipment, home healthcare and nutritional supplies, educational and nutritional workshops, transportation assistance, massage and exercise therapy, and also wigs, hats, and scarves. Almost all services are provided at little or no cost to cancer patients’ and their families.

We were able to raise over $7,800.00 to help patients in our region detect, fight, and survive cancer. If you are interested in supporting the fight against cancer in our local community and surrounding region, and would like to provide a donation for our up-coming silent auction or Cancer Services of NE Indiana; please contact: Patti Wasmuth 260-497-5526 or pwasmuth @
