Summer Nights: DJ J Tubbs

The Embassy is pleased to announce that Summer Nights at the Embassy will begin its seventh season on Wednesday, June 1 and continue for 16 weeks, wrapping up on September 14. The events run from 5 to 9 p.m., with music starting at 5:30 p.m.

Jamaris Earl Tubbs (J. Tubbs) has always had a fascination with anything creative. He constantly expressed himself through avenues such as music, fashion, poetry, art, and skating. The Georgia native grew up listening to hip hop at the early age of 5. As a teenager, he thrived on creating a style for himself that wasn’t a typical sound making sure to separate himself from others that were trying to be part of the hip hop culture.

Influenced by heavyweight artists such as T.I., Ludacris, Big K.R.I.T, Outkast, and more J. Tubbs found it only right to be an individual and not an “industry clone” to the world of music, seeing that individualism is everything in being a true entertainer.
