SHOUT! A Celebration of the Beatles & Abbey Road's 50th Birthday

A Jonathan Hancock Lecture Series event facilitated by Dr. Glenn Gass, award-winning Provost Professor of Music at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.

On September 26, 1969, the Beatles capped their career and the decade of the 1960's by releasing their final recorded album, Abbey Road, named in honor of the studio where in seven short years they changed the face and sound of popular music and dramatically expanded its musical palette and possibilities.

Celebrate this milestone and the Beatles' remarkable music and career with an overview of the Beatles' lives and times and plenty of audio and video clips to trigger your ears and memories.

This event is free and open to the public.
