Post Miami – 1754-1763

Saturday, August 28, 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, August 29, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

We are excited to welcome visitors to Historic Fort Wayne for the 2021 Season.  The health and safety of our visitors, participants and volunteers is our primary concern. To ensure everyone’s experience is enjoyable and safe, we ask that you follow the posted Health and Safety Guidelines while visiting the fort.

Witness the 1700’s come alive as French and British forces clash for control this weekend at the Old Fort.  Fur traders, Native Americans, civilians, and soldiers will demonstrate daily activities at the French outpost known as Post Miami during the French and Indian War.  Experience battles, infantry drills, and a cannon being fired.   Visit merchants, talk with historical artisans, and tour the fort.
