80 Edgers will be rappelling a building located in downtown Fort Wayne in order to raise funds for our new initiative: Strong Neighborhoods!

STRONG NEIGHBORHOODS
Strong Neighborhoods connects people to each other and their community. United Way of Allen County is working to build an initiative that aims to gather the strengths and voices of residents. This provides the opportunity for residents to participate in the revitalization of their own neighborhood.
Strong Neighborhoods will focus on creating collaborations and building resources at a neighborhood level in areas that need it the most.
United Way will do this by implementing the following strategies:
- Building relationships and collaborating with residents
- Utilizing individual strengths and talents to help neighbors
- Convening available community assets
- Identifying potential growth opportunities
- Removing barriers for people to improve the overall well-being of themselves and their community
