Larry Fleet is a country singer steeped in the rhythms of soul. He combines his natural aptitude for R&B with his love of the styles of honky tonk. A native of White Bluff, Tennessee, Larry Fleet was drawn to music at an early age, playing and singing in his family’s bluegrass band when he was just six years old. Fleet’s breakthrough arrived when he played a set of covers at a wedding barn party, catching the attention of country-singer Jake Owen. Owen took the singer on tour and helped him land a spot on the televised music competition Real Country, where Fleet placed second.
Fleet says he strives to connect to the listener through songs that are honest to his feelings and experiences. He draws inspiration from the ballads and storytelling songs he grew up with. He says his influences range from Willie Nelson to Otis Redding and Merle Haggard to The Temptations.
