The Case Management Society of America (CSMA) has partnered with Allen County Drug & Alcohol Consortium (DAC) and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) to present a broad overview of health in our region, from conception to end of life.

The day will begin with the Allen County Health Commissioner, Dr. Deb McMahan presenting on Infant and Maternal Mortality. Judge Pratt presenting on the courts' role in the health of our children and youth, followed by Lieutenant Jon Bowers will discuss the ways in which the police department is working with mental health workers to improve outcomes. An hour of Ethics for Helping Professionals will occur over lunch.

The afternoon will host Adult Protective Services' Adrienne Gorman explaining mandatory reporting and common circumstances faced by older adults. The day will end with the Drug & Alcohol Consortium's MaryClare Akers discussing resources available for Case Managers and Social Workers encountering patients who have Substance Use Disorder and Mental Illness
