Artlink is pleased to present The Art of Slowing Down: Women’s Labour & Craft by Mallory Donen.
Opening reception: Thursday, May 4 from 5-8pm
This solo exhibition by Hannah Burnworth includes two and three-dimensional paper plants created to celebrate women and their roles in fostering growth. Burnworth explores the significance of the vessel and plant life in relationship to mothers and caregivers. She utilized her own handmade paper, repurposed artwork by her high school students, and artwork created by her children in developing this series.
