Citizen Science programs are open to all ages at no charge and no pre-registration is required. Learn about the world around you while asssiting in scientific community! Record your observations of what is happening in nature at that point in time. Just meet us at the park dressed for the outdoors. In the event of inclement weather, please check the Riverfront Fort Wayne Facebook page for cancellations. This event is from 10am - 11am. Parents are required to accompany their children to activities. Suitable for all ages but aimed at children. Please meet at the Pavilion.

FAQs:

Citizen Science will always be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

Nature’s Notebook, Birdwatching on Our Urban Rivers, and Project Squirrel are suitable for all ages. Young Naturalist is recommended for ages 5-10, but is just a suggestion.

Parents must accompany their children to all SOTR activities, including Citizen Science.

For Nature’s Notebook, Birdwatching on Our Urban Rivers, and Project Squirrel we will meet at the Convergence Sculpture. For Young Naturalist we will meet at the Pavilion.
