About

Fort Wayne Youtheatre Collaborates with Audiences Unlimited for the first time to bring you The Neurodiversity Project!

The Neurodiversity Project: Aesop's Fables

Enter Aesop’s imaginative world of brave mice, clever crows and fantastic fables, through this fast-paced and theatrical play. Audiences Unlimited and Fort Wayne Youtheatre collaborate with a group of neurodiverse youth to create an ability inclusive theatrical experience that will entertain, delight and highlight the transformative possibilities of theatre. Puppets, masks and imaginative performances bring Aesop’s best loved tales to life.

Using the transformative and inventive world of Aesop’s Fables, Audiences Unlimited and Fort Wayne Youtheatre will create a unique theatrical experience with a group of neurodivergent and neurotypical young artists. Working side by side for three months this company of neurodiverse youth will explore their creative talents and collaborate on a show that will not only entertain but demonstrate the value of the arts for all by enhancing social interaction, communication skills, self-confidence and self-esteem.
