“Living with Wildlife” Presentation

Even in urban hubs, wildlife encounters can be in residents’ backyards, crossing roads, and sharing trails. Understanding these animals is key to understanding wildlife. Jessica Merkling, north urban wildlife biologist with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Division of Fish & Wildlife, will present information designed to minimize conflicts between humans and wildlife, attract beneficial wildlife and help residents better understand the animals in their backyards. Questions are encouraged at the end of the presentation in the Park Foundation Pavilion.
