Be A Tourist All Year Long

On the second Sunday of every September, local attractions open their doors for FREE to the community during the annual Be a Tourist in Your Own Hometown event. This year, we encourage you to get out and be a tourist in your hometown all year long! Check back every month to find the new attraction of the month.

April Attraction of the Month:
Allen County Public Library

Explore the world of books this month! Don’t miss National Library Week, April 7-13. Plus, April 12 is the 158th anniversary of the start of the Civil War. Discover books, photographs, artifacts, and more as you browse the Lincoln Collection—a resource for information on the life of Abraham Lincoln. Visit Page

During your visit, post a photo on social media with #BeATouristFW. At the end of the month, we’ll select a winning photo! The winner will receive a Fort Wayne gift from the Visitors Center. You can also upload your photo below.
