The Real Group and Heartland Sings: A Cappella at its Finest

We Are The Dream: Remembering Martin Luther King Jr.

Martin Luther King Jr. day is fast approaching, and so is Heartland Sings’ annual We Are the Dream concert. This concert honoring the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. includes narration, solos, and choral numbers. I participated in this concert for the first time last year and was shocked by how touching it was (I may have cried).

The Boar's Head and Yule Log Festival: A Chat with the Herald

2015 was my first year in Fort Wayne and consequently my first year singing at the Boar’s Head and Yule Log Festival. Boar’s Head festivals have been held since medieval times, and the Christian version of the festival started in 1340. Plymouth Congregational Church in Fort Wayne has been hosting the festival since 1975.

Never heard of Old Crown Brass? Allow me to introduce them. They've been around in the Summit City since 2007 (their first concert was canceled due to the snowstorms we're prone to here), and although they're based in Fort Wayne, their approximately 30 volunteer members come from a three-state area.
