What's New at the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo for 2017?

When my girls were little, there were few more anticipated days than the opening of the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo each year. Actually though, even now with teenagers, the zoo's opening day still sparks excitement. 

It's springtime: a beautiful season in Fort Wayne. Trees, flowers, and bulbs are blooming. There's a fresh smell in the air, and you can finally leave your winter coat at home. Whether you have toddlers, teens, or are enjoying your golden years -- or none of the above --  there's no better place to spend a spring day than at our zoo.

Great Bike Paths in Fort Wayne

Riding my bike through the back of Eagle Marsh, across a wooden bridge and spying a Great Egret fishing reminds me of how crucial it is to get out of my car more. That's why I'm excited about National Bike Month. It's such a win-win. Good for your health, good for the environment's health.

Free Concerts and Movies at the Foellinger Theatre

The Foellinger Theatre, located at 3411 Sherman Blvd, opened in 1949 as the first outdoor theatre in Fort Wayne for residents to enjoy performances on beautiful summer days and evenings. It was renovated in 1976 to the theatre that we know and love today.
