What's New at the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo for 2017?

When my girls were little, there were few more anticipated days than the opening of the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo each year. Actually though, even now with teenagers, the zoo's opening day still sparks excitement. 

It's springtime: a beautiful season in Fort Wayne. Trees, flowers, and bulbs are blooming. There's a fresh smell in the air, and you can finally leave your winter coat at home. Whether you have toddlers, teens, or are enjoying your golden years -- or none of the above --  there's no better place to spend a spring day than at our zoo.

What's New at the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo for 2016?

April 23 will be here soon -- and in Fort Wayne, that's the day the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo opens. I remember fondly the days when my three daughters were little. We had a zoo pass every year and enjoyed spending full days or even just an hour or two at the zoo.
