Calling all children of the 90’s! Fort Wayne will host the I Love the 90’s Tour at the Memorial Coliseum on Thursday, November 3. So whether you’re already planning to visit during that time or are looking for a way to kick off a fun weekend here, this is a concert you won’t want to miss.
This inaugural tour pays homage to the decade that brought us The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Pulp Fiction, Wazzup, Michael Jordan, Beanie Babies, slap bracelets, and combat boots. But, perhaps, the best thing about the 90s was the music. The I Love the 90s Tour will feature some of the best from that decade, including Vanilla Ice, Salt ‘n Pepa, Coolio, Color Me Badd, Tone Loc, and Young MC… all on one stage for one night. Reminisce to tunes like Ice, Ice Baby, Shoop, and All 4 Love. Full disclosure, the very first concert I attended was Color Me Badd when I was in seventh grade. Nothing beats a night of reliving your childhood!
The concert starts at 7 p.m., which gives you plenty of time to head to dinner beforehand, so you can make it a date night. There are many great restaurants near the Coliseum, and downtown is just a short ten-minute drive away. Check out the Restaurant Page on this website to explore your options.
Insider tip: Casa Ristorante Italiano is right across the street from the Coliseum and serves some of the best Italian food in town. Locals swear by it. It also offers a nice selection of beer and a full bar.
Tickets are on sale now at Ticketmaster.com and start at just $38. For more information about the tour, visit Ilovethe90stour.com.
