School’s out and summer is in full swing. You might already be worried about running out of activities for your children but worry no more! Fort Wayne offers summer day camps with activities for every child to grow in knowledge and memories during their summer break. Whether your camper is interested in gardening, goats or making goals - there’s a summer day camp bound to bring smiles to you both.

Summer Camps in Fort Wayne, Indiana

Franke Park Day Camp

This camp is open to kids ages 4-18. The camp offers a strong emphasis on nature education, basic camping skills, and Native American Lore. They also offer before and after care for your convenience.

There are six sessions offered from June through July. Registration fills up fast for this Fort Wayne favorite!

Game Day Sports Camp

Throughout the day, campers learn the fundamentals of basketball, soccer, lacrosse, flag football, track and baseball. Everyone has an opportunity to play and develop their skills according to their desires and personal abilities.

If sports isn’t your camper's thing, that’s ok too! Alternative activities like painting, board games, puppet making, jewelry making, card playing, sidewalk chalk and puzzles are also available.

Camp dates run for 4 weeks in June.

Fort Wayne Mad Ants Basketball Camp

Campers age 6 to 14 will enjoy daily lunch, camp t-shirts, camp basketball, one season pass to all 2018-19 Mad Ants Home Games.

Camp runs July 16-20 from 9 AM - 4 PM.

Pine Hills Learning Place

Kids in grades Kindergarten through 6th grade are guaranteed to have an active, fun and memorable summer. Every day, kids experience summer fun through field trips and activities. Beyond fun, they also support summer reading through weekly trips to the library. Good behavior is rewarded with visits to the Camp Canteen. And, because Pine Hills Learning Place offers child care 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., your child can have before and after camp care as needed.

Kids For Nature Summer Camp at the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo

At Kids for Nature Summer Camp, your child will grow his love of nature and animals while developing teamwork and friendship. Dates and times for the camp vary depending on your child’s age. You can start your children as young as 3 years old with a parent and as old as ages 11-12 for Junior Zoo Keeper Training.

Science Central Summer Camps

A unique day camp option is Science Central’s single-day summer camps for kids ages 5-11 years. The programs run 8:30 a.m to 4 p.m. and are $30/non-member or $25/deluxe member.

Each day offers a unique theme so your camper can enjoy a new experience each day she attends. The single-day camps run June to August. Also available are weekly camps with science themes for campers ages 5-13 years. The weekly camps run 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and are $150/non-member or $135/deluxe member.

City Safari Day Camp at the Botanical Conservatory

Children entering 1st through 6th grades get to experience a different theme each week while exploring local landmarks, tending gardens, learning from local experts and riding a Citilink bus to Northside pool for a day of swimming. The weekly themes are incorporated through games, activities, arts and crafts, as well as off-site field trips each week. Come for a week or join for the entire summer of fun June to August.

Farmin’ Fun Day Camp at Salomon Farm

From June to August, area kids ages 4 and older get to experience life on a farm through environmental exploration, arts and crafts, farming and gardening, animal care, games and much more. Kids will harvest and sell vegetables, care for pygmy goats and meet donkeys, sheep, goals and chickens.

Camp hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (ages 6 and over; 9:00-Noon for ages 4-5) but before and after-camp care is also available.
