What is your favorite way to cool off on a hot day? For my pre-school aged nephews, they love running through a sprinkler. While they enjoy the running through one in their backyard, where they can feel the grass beneath their toes, they treasure their visits to local splash pads. They love to visit the cities' park can run through a variety of water-dispensing structures and enjoy watching other kids have fun!
On a hot steamy day, my nephews love to run under the concrete structures that dispense refreshing cool water. They are not the only ones who love to play, too. These pads, located in parks, located in and around Fort Wayne allow kids of all ages and abilities to enjoy hours of fun in the sun! Each splash pad base is a concrete structures, so they are wheelchair chair friendly.
For my sister-in-law, they are a great form of free entertainment! All splash pads operated by the Leo-Cedarville Parks Department and City of Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation's Parks are free to the public. Splash Pads are located in the following City of Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation's Parks:
