The Foellinger Theatre's 2016 concert series is insane! Fort Wayne, Indiana, is proud to host a "who's who" of rock ‘n' roll legends all summer long. The lineup kicks off this month with Ann and Nancy Wilson - aka Heart - hitting the stage on Friday, May 13 and the "Spend the Night With Alice Cooper" Tour rolling into town the following week on Thursday, May 20.

When you have the longevity that artists like Heart and Alice Cooper have - a longevity that comes from reinvention - something interesting happens: fans of a certain age, like me, get to see the "old" and "new" versions of the band.
For example, you've got "classic rock" Heart, the Heart of "Barracuda," "Crazy On You," and "Magic Man," and "1980s rock" Heart, with hits like "Alone," "These Dreams," and "All I Wanna Do." There's a clear difference between these songs, as each is a product of its era, but all the songs are distinctly Heart - and distinctly awesome.
There's the Alice Cooper who showed up on The Muppet Show and performed "Welcome to My Nightmare," and the Alice Cooper who cameoed in Wayne's World. There's the Alice Cooper who sang "No More Mr. Nice Guy," and the Alice Cooper who sang "Poison" and "Hey Stoopid." As a kid, I loved early Heart and Alice Cooper, and as a teen, I loved their new music too. They'll bring these hits - and more - to entertain fans of all ages.
While the Heart show is sold out, tickets for Alice Cooper are still available from the Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department and range in price from $49 to $99 (with a $5 processing fee). Don't miss a chance to see these rock icons take the Summit City by storm!
