The NIIC has created a co-working space on its campus, located at 3217-B Stellhorn Road in Fort Wayne. The facility boasts a conference center, 8,000 square feet of meeting space, a commercial kitchen for catering and a private dining room.
What exactly does this mean? Such a space promotes community and has a great feel and massive amounts of energy. Here, you can connect with other like-minded individuals that want a “wired and inspired” environment but something more special than a coffee house.
Co-working is a “cafe-like community/collaboration space for developers, writers, professionals, telecommuters, inventors, business owners, students and independents.” Destination: Your Future is a cross between a garage, dorm room, and the local coffee shop all in one professional business address. Co-working offers the best elements of a coffee shop (social, energetic, creative) and the best elements of a workspace (productive, functional)” and when combined, these elements create an awesome and affordable experience.
