Have you ever wondered what it was like to be at the zoo after the sun goes down? Well you can this summer by signing up for the "Family Wild Nights" program. You can experience the zoo after dark with a sleepover! How cool is that? It includes educational activities, food, and tons of fun and laughs for the whole family in one single payment. There are two sleep options available; an aquarium sleepover, which is "Sleeping with the Sharks" which will be on August 1, September 11, and October 2 from 6 p.m. to 9 a.m. Or check out the "Sleeping under the Stars" outdoor sleepover on June 20, July 17, and September 5 from 6 p.m. - 9 a.m. Then for the really small children, there's a "Fun with the Fishes Preschool" night on August 28 from 6 p.m. - 9 a.m. Cost for each sleepover is $30/child and $20/adult. All you have to do is choose the theme that works for your family and register.
As if sleepovers at the zoo weren't enough, "Summer Safari Day Camp" programs are also offered at the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo. 2015 marks the 26th year for the "Summer Safari Day Camp" and gives us 16 sessions to choose from this summer. There are many options for sessions using the age group of your child, which ranges in age from 3 to 12 years old. The themes also range from "Animal Alphabet" to "Monkey See, Monkey Do" to "Animal Training 101."
