My name is Chelsie Huebner, and as the name of the post suggests, I'm going to be in Fort Wayne for the next week, and every day I'm going to focus on one of the great places I visit and share my experiences with you here, on The Fort Wayne Insider. I am from Toledo, Ohio, my hometown, where I am about to enter my senior year of high school. I am in town visiting my cousin, and have this great opportunity to explore Fort Wayne as a true first time visitor. To start off my week in Fort Wayne, I decided to roam freely around Downtown Fort Wayne. I have to admit that I am not used to the idea of exploring a downtown, and I was unsure of what to expect. Downtown Fort Wayne is comfortortable easy to navigate. What I found was a comfortable, safe, and compact downtown that was a blast to explore. The trees and flowers and green was everywhere, and it was easy to go from street to street. Sky bridges were helpful and connected the city in many places. Where ever I went there was always a lot going on. Finding a thing to do Downtown was not a challenge. For those who have any doubts about exploring downtown Fort Wayne, I can happily tell you that it is a great experience and welcoming to all visitors. See you on day two.
