Nothing screams comfort food quite like mac and cheese. The best part about it is how creative restaurants can be, from the pasta choice to the extras that can elevate the dish in a way you don’t see at most family events.

Fort Wayne, Indian's Best Mac and Cheese

Trubble Brewing

Fort Wayne, Indiana has some exceptional destinations for this favorite, starting with the Main Squeeze Mac & Cheese at Trubble Brewing. The pasta is smothered with their house beer cheese sauce, and you have the option to top it with pork or chicken. The sauce of the pulled pork combined with the beer cheese is certainly a match made in food heaven!

JK O'Donnell's

If you’re looking for something with a little more of a kick, I suggest the Bacon Mac & Cheese with Fried Chicken from JK O’Donnell’s. Made with three different kinds of cheese and topped with cayenne battered chicken, the option to pour buffalo wing sauce over this dish takes it to a whole new level of excitement.

Hoppy Gnome

A spicier alternative to this is the Smoked Gouda & Chorizo Mac N’ Cheese found at Hoppy Gnome. While it’s listed as an option under the small plates section of the menu, it’s almost too good to share.

Three Rivers Distilling Company

Three Rivers Distilling Company's version, the Smokey Mac & Cheese, lets the velvety gouda cheese sauce do all the heavy lifting. They do give the option to add chicken if you enjoy topping your mac!

Granite City

Make a stop for the Bennie Mac & Cheese from Granite City. The breadcrumb topping on this one gives it a nice variety of texture between the bacon, chicken, and cheese sauce.

Mad Anthony Brewing Company

For the last mac and cheese, Mad Anthony Brewing Company oven bakes their mac and cheese creating a crispy top covered in cornbread crumbs.

From simple to spicy, Fort Wayne has all the macs for its residents to enjoy!
