It’s not just us Insiders who think Fort Wayne is great—you do!  The Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo and the TinCaps games at Parkview Field were voted as Indiana’s #1 and #2 Summer Gotta-Dos in 2012.  After its success with an online poll to pick the state’s  forty-six top sandwiches when Indianapolis was hosting the forty-sixth Super Bowl, the Indiana Office of Tourism Development wanted to keep getting great feedback from Indiana residents online.  Last spring, they hosted a poll where voters chose the top “Gotta-Dos” for summer in Indiana.  A visit to Fort Wayne just isn’t complete without a stop at the Zoo and Parkview Field. The Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo is consistently ranked as one of the top ten children’s zoos in the nation.  Visitors to the zoo can explore the Indonesian Rainforest, the African plains, and the Australian Adventure portions of the zoo, as well as interact with animals through Creature Features every day. The Fort Wayne TinCaps games at Parkview Field have something to please the entire family.  Voted the #1 Kid-Friendly Baseball Stadium in Indiana, Parkview Field has a variety of seating options beginning at $5.  Sample excellent apple-themed food from the Apple Cart concession stand or play in the kids’ area.  There’s entertainment at many home games, too, including the Bad Apple Dancers at the end of the sixth inning.
