Memorial Coliseum

With 1,000,000 sq. ft. of flexible space, the massive Memorial Coliseum hosts basketball, volleyball, soccer, hockey and ice skating competitions of any size. Their newest addition of the Conference Center provides 27,155 sq. ft. of high-tech, luxurious and multi-purpose event space. This also includes a tasting room which can be used for large events or intimate gatherings. This March the Coliseum is the location for the NCAA DIII Men’s Basketball Championship and next year they will host the NCAA DI Women’s Basketball Regional Tournament.

Plassman Athletic Center at Turnstone

Turnstone Plassman Athletic Center is the fourth largest Paralympic Sport Club in the United States and has been named “One of the Top 10 best Adaptive Sports Facilities in America”. Their 190,000 sq. ft. facility is fully accessible and ready to host sports such as wheelchair basketball, power soccer, goalball, and more. This summer they will host the 2019 IBSA Goalball and Judo Paralympic Qualifying Competition.  

Parkview Icehouse - Ice Skating in Fort Wayne

The SportONE/ Parkview Icehouse is the only ice arena in Indiana with three full sized rinks. The Thirsty Penguin Restaurant overlooks the rinks for a great view of any competition and a warmer/ more relaxing environment. In 2018 the Icehouse held the 2018 Midwestern Sectional Figure Skating Championships and this year they will host the 2019 State Wars National Championship.

Fort Wayne has several multi-purpose fieldhouse venues that are ready to host volleyball, basketball, soccer, softball and more.

  • Spiece Fieldhouse is a 150,000 sq. ft. facility that features eight hardwood volleyball/ basketball courts, a restaurant and snack bar and more than 400 parking spaces.
  • SportOne/Parkview Fieldhouse has 57,000 sq. ft. filled with eight indoor volleyball/ basketball courts. They can also host wrestling, gymnastics and other indoor events. A couple other special features are their outdoor sand volleyball courts and the Parkview Sports Medicine Golf House.
  • Empowered Sports Club hosts indoor volleyball and soccer in their 90,000 sq. ft. facility. Enjoy outdoor sports all year round with their indoor soccer turf and beach volleyball courts.
  • The Plex has two locations in Fort Wayne. Their North facility offers two full-size outdoor soccer fields and an adjacent 45,000 sq. ft. indoor multi-sport venue. The Plex South has 60,000 sq. ft. of space for indoor soccer tournaments, flag football, softball, baseball and in-line hockey.
