The Fort Wayne Area Community Band is another example of our community spirit and talent. The approximately 80 musicians, students and professionals from the Fort Wayne community strive together to bring the blessing of music to citizens several times throughout the year. The results are professional tunes that get your feet tapping and your spirit lifting.
Since its formation in 1979, the FWACB has had several directors, all highly qualified and respected as musicians. Currently, Scott Humphries, Assistant Professor of Music at Manchester College, is current director of the Fort Wayne Community Band.
