Sweetwater is where the music is, where the fun is, and where YOU should be during your next Fort Wayne getaway. It’s where local musicians play and teach, where aspiring musicians learn, and where much of Fort Wayne’s music industry makes a living.

Sweetwater opens at 9 AM (11 on Sundays), and you really can make a whole day of your visit. You can listen, dine, shop, and play. And at Sweetwater, “play” could refer to music OR games. Sweetwater has a free arcade, a big winding slide, and an indoor simulated sports screen.

The Sweetwater complex has it all. Time it right and you can even catch a show in the auditorium. Sweetwater’s stage has boasted some of the industry’s top talent, including Ben Folds, Joe Satriani, and Queen Cora Dunham, to name a few.

You don’t have to plan ahead to have a blast at Sweetwater. It’s the perfect drop-in attraction. Whether you’re day tripping in Fort Wayne or staying overnight, Sweetwater has you covered for family fun. There is no admission free, and much of the complex is free.

The arcade, sports simulator and table games are all free to use. Sweetwater also features several music stores and many instruments you can try out. You’re welcome to bring your own instrument as well. Impromptu jams pop-up at Sweetwater often.

The café and coffee shop are reasonably priced with many options. You can opt for a short-order meal, or pick up one of the grab-and-go options. And don’t forget dessert. Sweetwater’s chef presents daily dessert options, and everyone knows that you’re allowed to eat dessert when you’re on vacation.

Enjoy the winding slide. Like the arcade, this attraction is free and fun for kids of all ages.  And check out the nearby Crescendo Club stage. You might see some of Fort Wayne’s professional music talent entertaining during lunch. The stage is also home to rotating open mic events. Newcomers welcome!
