Fort Wayne is home to many festivals, but few are devoted to celebrating the love of beer.

If you enjoy hopp-y goodness, you won't want to miss Irish pub JK O'Donnell's third annual beer festival. Beoir Go Leoir (which is Gaelic for "lots of beer" and is pronounced "beer galore") is coming up on May 2. Here you'll be able to enjoy some of the best brews the Midwest has to offer. JK's is closing the street in front of the pub with a huge tent, 40+ breweries represented and over 100 beers to sample. Sounds heavenly, doesn't it?
Ticket prices are: General Admission is $35 in advance ($40 on the day of the event) and includes a tasting glass. A VIP ticket costs $60 in advance and $70 day of (if available). This ticket includes early admission and appetizers from 1-2pm. But that's not all! VIP-ers will get a Beoir Go Leoir stein and special release beers. Get your tickets here.
If beer's not your thing, you just might enjoy the pub. Inspired by the pubs of Castlebar in Ireland, O'Donnell's offers the true Irish experience complete with Irish fare, brews, and even sports. Come down for a pint and good conversation and O'Donnell's will leave you with fun memories you won't forget. I recommend their fish and chips and a flight of light beers. Their family room is great for the younger non-drinking crowd.
