Turn the clock back and go back in time to a simpler era at Christmas at the Old Fort, a celebration of the holiday season as it was many decades ago. Christmas at the Old Fort takes place this year on Saturday, November 29.
This event welcomes the holiday season and includes fun activities for children, a bake sale, pop up gift shops from period artisans and more. This time of year is often chilly in Fort Wayne, Indiana so be sure to cozy up near the fire here in between activities.
Christmas at the Old Fort takes place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is free. Donations are encouraged, however, to help support this piece of Fort Wayne history and preserve the Old Fort for generations to come. The address for the Old Fort is 1201 Spy Run Ave. For more information on this event or questions visit the Old Fort online or call 260.437.2836.
Insider Tip: The Old Fort is located within easy walking distance of downtown where you can take in the sights and sounds of the city during the holiday season. Alternatively you can find parking at Lawton Park. Want even more fun? Then take a ride on the Holly Trolley which will take visitors from downtown to the event.
